AREA UPCOMING EVENTS

NOTICE:  Please remember that the city does have a leash ordinance for dogs.  There are a number of dogs running loose.  Please make sure that your dog is secured.  Also, if you live with the city limits and have not purchased your 2019 dog tag, please contact the city office.

 

May 2nd :  National Day of Prayer will be held at the Burdett United Methodist Church beginning at 7:30 pm.

 

May 6th:  Speakers from the Fort Hays Experimental Station will be presenting a program @ Burdett 

       Seniors approximately 12:30 pm. Bring a covered dish and join us for a noon meal.

 

May 7th: Pawnee Heights Elementary Spring Concert.       7pm.  Pawnee Heights Gym.  Rozel.

 

May 8th:  Rozel Pet Clinic. 4-6 pm.  Rozel Fire Station.  If  you missed Burdett’s clinic you are welcome to take

your animals to Rozel.

 

May 11th:  Pawnee Heights High School Graduation – 11 am.

 

May 14th: 8th grade graduation and awards night.

 

May 15th: Burdett United Methodist Women.  Topic: Momma’s Little Jewels.

 

May 16th:  Last Day of School.

 

May 17th: Coffee & Donut Hour sponsored by Burdett EMS 9:30-11am. @ Burdett Seniors. Everyone Welcome.

 

May 27th:  Memorial Day Services at Brown’s Grove Cemetery 9 am.   Following services at the Cemetery, the Burdett Seniors will be serving refreshments.  Free will donation .

 

Tuesdays, May 28th – July 2nd  :

Summer Reading Program. Pawnee Heights Community Library Burdett.  10-11:30 am.  Kindergarten – 5th grade.

 

 

ATTENTION:  The City of Burdett has 3 open positions for Mayor and 2 councilpersons.  If you wish to run, please register at the Pawnee County Courthouse no later than noon June 3rd.
