Saturday, November 10, 11 am to 2 pm:  Annual Pheasant Hunters meal served by the American Legion Auxiliary.  Serving Chili, Vegetable Soup, Ham and Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Desserts, and drinks.  EVERY ONE WELCOME!

 

Friday, November 16:  Coffee and Donut Hour – 9:30 to 11 am @ Burdett Seniors.  Sponsored by Delaney Implement & Griffin Baler Repair.  EVERY ONE WELCOME

 

Saturday, November 17:  Pawnee Heights High School will present the dinner theater musical Oh, Horrors!  It's Murder!  a tantalizing, funny who-dun-it featuring the eighth through twelfth grade students.   As the audience arrives at the Monsters, Murderers and Madmen lecture series at the local museum, a priceless relic goes missing and the mad, murderous plot unfolds.  With an Egyptian curse enacted, who knows who-dun-it?!  Starring Samuel Duncan as Lt. Dan Morrow, Tiffany Humphrey as archeologist Elena Newman, and Cody Amspacker as the forceful curator, Dr. Johann Vanderveer.  Tickets are on sale through the Senior Class of PHS and the office.

 

Sunday, November 18:  Food Pantry from 2 to 4 pm at Rozel UMC.

 

Wednesday, November 21 thru Friday, November 23:  No School - Thanksgiving Break

 

Thursday, November 22:  Will you be eating alone this Thanksgiving?  Come join us at the Burdett Seniors for a Thanksgiving Dinner.  Provided will be some Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy and drinks.  All you need to do is come and join us and bring a covered-dish to accompany the meal (suggestions are:  meat, potatoes, sweet potatoes, relishes, vegetable, salad, cranberry dish, rolls, dessert).  Food needs to be ready for set up by 12:30 and the meal will begin at 1 pm.

A new children series “Magic Tree House” is now available at the Community Library.  Also some new Large Print books are available.
