Independence Dayis fast approaching the Mayor and City Council of Burdett would like everyone to keep safety in mind while celebrating Independence Day. We all enjoy fireworks they are beautiful to watch and fun to set off. Remember to make sure that your family, friends, neighbors & pets are all safe during this time of celebration. Also remember to be courteous to your neighbors; this is supposed to be a fun time. If your neighbor has a pet outside, it would be nice to let them know that you will be shooting off fireworks so that they can ensure the safety of their pet.
