SATURDAY JULY 18, 2026  
6:30 AM til gone Cheerleaders serving Cinnamon Rolls, Coffee, Juice - Burdett Park  
7:00 AM 5-K Run (start at Burdett Park)  
7:00 AM 1 Mile Walk (start at Burdett Park)  
8:00 - 9:30 AM

Historical Car Tour of Area (start at Burdett Senior Center)
Tour will visit Confrontation Ridge  (click link to read about it) 

 
 

Other Memorabilia will be on display through out the day in the Burdett Senior Center
Historical Video will also be playing in the Burdett Senior Center

 
9:00 - 10:00 AM Parade Entry Line Up in Coop Yard. Parade Entry Form. Submit your Parade Entry by July 15.  
10:00 AM Parade - Prizes will be awarded for best in each category and best of show. Parade Route.

  Medallion Hunt - Prizes offered, Information Station located in the Church Education Building

1:00 - 5:00 PM Quilt Show & Demonstration - Valley Community Church Sanctuary.  Quilt Entry Form.  Prizes Awarded.  To commemorate the Burdett 150 Celebration, signatures will be collected from attendees to create a Burdett 150 Signature Quilt.  
2:00 PM Quilt Show Presentation- 'A Prairie Tradition': Creating Modern Heirlooms by Lori (Price) Finney, Author and Fiber Artist, 6th Generation Quilter.  Attendees will have an opportunity to win a copy of Heirloom Quilts Coloring Book: 'Comfy and Cozy Patterns' by Lori Finney.   
4:00 PM Quilt Show Presentation- 'Prairie Friendships': Stories of Burdett Women (Signature Quilt) by Janette (Mostrom) Friesen, Genealogy Enthusiast. Attendees will have an opportunity to win a copy of Heirloom Quilts Coloring Book: 'Comfy and Cozy Patterns' by Lori Finney.  
6:00 - 7:30 PM Celebration Meal - Burdett Park,  Parade Winners will be announced during meal  
8:00 - 9:30 PM Celebration Dance - On the Tennis Courts at the Burdett Park  
10:00 - 10:30 PM Fireworks (place to be determined)

10:00 AM Community Church Service - Burdett Park
